Characteristics

The SPB side wing snow plough is designed for ploughing multi-lane motorways. It is mounted on the right side of the vehicle and can be hydraulically moved up or down, its wing opens or closes into the transport or operating position respectively. During transport, the side wing plough is placed right next to the vehicle and thus does not pose any problems when passing through narrow spaces, such as motorway stations and other objects. On motorways, it is recommended to use the SPB in combination with the front-mounted RPS 5P snow plough to clean two lanes of the road. This way you gain time, performance and efficiency.

Plough protection system

Reliable safety system through spring folding flaps, which allow to pass an obstacle without problems, and supporting elements in the form of support skates or wheels. The springs of the blade create a force that ensures a constant contact of the blade with the surface, ensuring high-quality ploughing even when going through an obstacle, as the blades automatically return to their operating position.

Installation and mounting options

The SPB is mounted on the right side of the vehicle, connected to a specially adapted side mounting plate.

Drive and control

The plough is hydraulically operated via a control lever and/or an LCD colour display from the vehicle cabin. The hydraulic system on the plough consists of reliable proven components. The snow plough may be driven by a plough-mounted electro-hydraulic system (EHS) or a hydraulic unit of the vehicle. EHS is a simple solution for controlling the plough on vehicles that do not have their own hydraulic unit.

Blades

The plough is basically equipped with wear-resistant metal blades, rubber, polyurethane or combined blades can be installed if desired. The latter are used on surfaces such as granite, ceramics and the like.
