Professional segment snow plough for demanding winter conditions
The SPG snow plough is a professional segment snow plough designed for efficient snow clearing on local and regional roads, expressways and motorways. It is available in three- or four-segment configurations, allowing it to be adapted to different operational requirements and working conditions. Its robust construction, wide range of configurations and reliable performance make it an excellent choice for municipal services, road maintenance companies and professional winter maintenance contractors.
Several versions are available, including different segment configurations, the DNO system for increased turning angle and side tilt adjustment, and the SPG Z version with one or two folding wings. Its modular design allows the plough to be tailored to different applications and customer requirements.
Segment construction
The segment construction ensures excellent ground following, smooth operation and outstanding snow clearing performance, even at higher operating speeds. The robust steel construction provides a long service life, high reliability and low maintenance costs, even under intensive professional use.
Triple protection system
The proven triple protection system consists of oscillating links, support elements in the form of skids or wheels, and a hydraulic shock protection system. The oscillating links allow the plough to safely pass over higher obstacles, reduce stress on the carrier vehicle and effectively minimise noise and vibration during operation.
Different plough configurations
The SPG snow plough is available in several configurations to suit different user requirements:

Hydraulic control
The plough is hydraulically controlled via the carrier vehicle’s control lever. If required, it can also be equipped with its own electro-hydraulic system (EHS), enabling operation on vehicles without an integrated hydraulic system.
Mounting on vehicles and utility machines
Various mounting systems are available for installation on municipal vehicles, trucks and other utility machines. In addition to standard mounting plates and three-point linkage, the plough can be adapted to different carrier vehicles and utility machines, allowing quick installation and removal.
Selection of cutting edges for different surfaces
The SPG snow plough is supplied as standard with wear-resistant steel cutting edges. Rubber, polyurethane and combined cutting edges are also available for different surface types, ensuring efficient snow clearing on more sensitive surfaces such as granite, ceramic paving, block paving and other decorative finishes.
