Vario snow plough for professional winter maintenance

The SPV snow plough is a front-mounted Vario snow plough with variable geometry, designed for professional snow clearing on roads, streets, parking areas and other traffic surfaces. Thanks to its two independently controlled wings, it quickly adapts to changing operating conditions and delivers efficient snow removal, even in demanding environments.

It is particularly effective in city centres, narrow streets and parking areas, where its variable geometry provides multiple ploughing configurations and efficient operation in confined spaces.

Two-segment Vario construction

The SPV snow plough consists of two independently controlled mouldboards that can be operated separately or synchronously directly from the carrier vehicle cab. This design allows rapid adaptation to different operating conditions while ensuring excellent manoeuvrability, efficient snow clearing and safe transport.

Multiple ploughing modes

The variable geometry allows several different operating configurations:

• Straight position for standard snow clearing
• A position for the first snow clearing pass
• Y position for collecting and removing snow without side casting

Thanks to its versatile operating positions, the SPV snow plough is suitable for a wide range of winter maintenance applications and delivers efficient performance in various winter conditions.

Protection system

The proven protection system consists of spring-loaded trip flaps and support elements in the form of skids or caster wheels. The springs maintain continuous contact between the cutting edge and the road surface, while the cutting edges automatically return to the working position after passing an obstacle, ensuring efficient and high-quality snow clearing.

Hydraulic control

The snow plough is hydraulically controlled via the carrier vehicle’s control lever. If required, it can also be equipped with its own electro-hydraulic system (EHS), allowing operation on vehicles without an integrated hydraulic system.

Mounting on vehicles and utility machines

Various mounting options are available for municipal vehicles, tractors and other utility machines. In addition to standard mounting plates and three-point linkage, the plough can be adapted to different carrier vehicles and machines, ensuring quick installation and removal.

Cutting edge options

The SPV snow plough is supplied as standard with wear-resistant steel cutting edges. Rubber, polyurethane and combined cutting edges are also available for efficient snow clearing on sensitive surfaces such as granite, ceramic paving, concrete pavers and other decorative surfaces.
