The RPS snow plough is a professional four-segment snow plough designed for clearing national roads, expressways, motorways and other major traffic routes where high performance, reliability and high operating speeds are essential. Thanks to its robust construction and many years of development, it provides a reliable solution for professional winter maintenance contractors, even in the most demanding winter conditions.

Several plough versions and a wide range of optional equipment are available, allowing the plough to be adapted to different applications and user requirements.

Four-segment construction

The robust four-segment construction ensures excellent ground following, even at high operating speeds. Its heavy-duty steel construction provides exceptional durability, a long service life and reliable performance, even under intensive professional use.

Triple protection system

The proven triple protection system is based on the connection between the plough segment and the main frame, combining preloaded springs, oscillating links, support elements in the form of skids or wheels, and a hydraulic shock protection system. The oscillating links allow the plough to pass safely over even very high obstacles, while the springs ensure constant contact between the cutting edge and the road surface. After passing an obstacle, the segment automatically returns to its working position, ensuring continuous and efficient snow clearing.

Different plough configurations

The RPS snow plough is available in several configurations to suit different user requirements:

• RPS DNO version for increased turning angle and side tilt adjustment
• RPS 5P version with an additional fifth segment

Hydraulic control

The plough is hydraulically controlled via the carrier vehicle’s control lever. If required, it can also be equipped with its own electro-hydraulic system (EHS), enabling operation on vehicles without an integrated hydraulic system.

Mounting on vehicles and utility machines

Various mounting systems are available for installation on municipal vehicles, trucks and other utility machines. In addition to standard mounting plates and three-point linkage, the plough can be adapted to different carrier vehicles and utility machines, allowing quick installation and removal.

Selection of cutting edges for different surfaces

The RPS snow plough is supplied as standard with wear-resistant steel cutting edges. Rubber, polyurethane and combined cutting edges are also available for different surface types, ensuring efficient snow clearing on more sensitive surfaces such as granite, ceramic paving, block paving and other decorative finishes.
