Characteristics
The Igloo spreader consists of band spreaders for spreading all types of dry matter or pre-soaked dry material. The spreader has a low centre of gravity, service-friendly design and high level of reliability. Basic hoppers are available in 800–2000 litre versions and with additional frames. The spreader is very user friendly and easy to maintain, which means low operating costs.
Installation and mounting options
The spreader is installed on light delivery vehicles while a range of different sizes enables the best possible use of the vehicle’s load capacity.
Corrosion protection
Surface treatment consists of sandblasting, rust protection with two-component zinc base powder and two-component surface finish.
Drive and control
The spreader is driven by the vehicle’s hydraulic system or its own petrol engine. It is controlled by a modern remote control in the vehicle’s cabin.
