The Sirius Twin Runway Combi AST spreader series is specially developed for use on runways and other large surfaces where wide and precise spreading paths are required. It allows for multiple spreading methods – with dry material, pre-wetted salt, or liquid.

To achieve outstanding results, the Sirius Twin Runway Combi AST is equipped with two spreading discs, providing a spreading width of 4 to 24 meters. The width can be precisely adjusted in increments for both dry and pre-wetted spreading, allowing adaptation to various operational requirements.

For liquid spreading, the central nozzles with a width of 4 meters are always active, while two side frameworks with nozzles, each 5.5 meters wide, can be operated together or separately. This flexibility ensures precise surface coverage and optimal material usage, which is particularly important for runway maintenance and other large areas.

In the Combi series, additional front tanks are integrated into the design to increase liquid capacity, enabling efficient spreading according to the user’s specific requirements. The Epoke dosing system ensures horizontal and even emptying of the hopper, maintaining a stable center of gravity even at higher operating speeds.

All components of the spreader are designed for fast, safe, and efficient operation. Hydraulic and electrical systems are protected in enclosed compartments. The telescopic chute allows flexible length adjustment by a single operator, while the integrated ladder provides easy access for mounting the spreading disc. The full-width tarpaulin ensures easier access and maintenance.

The system was developed in collaboration with service specialists, ensuring simple and fast maintenance. Integrated safety rails and flexible mounting options provide proper weight distribution on the vehicle. Control points are safely accessible, and the spreader responds quickly to weather changes – even during operation.

The system enables independent operation and automatic adjustment of spreading quantity according to driving speed, enhancing efficiency, safety, and precision on critical surfaces such as airports.

Drive and Control

The Sirius Combi AST spreader can be powered by the vehicle’s hydraulic system or its own petrol engine, allowing flexibility based on vehicle configuration and user needs. Operation is managed through the advanced EpoMaster control system, designed for demanding users.

EpoMaster includes a range of advanced software-supported functions that can be used individually or as an integrated system. Despite the wide range of options, operation remains clear and focused on driving safety. The intuitive menu structure, clear symbols, and familiar buttons allow quick training of new operators and efficient operation in all weather conditions.

Advanced EpoMaster system functions for smart and efficient spreading:

• EpoTherm – automatically adjusts spreading quantity according to temperature.
• EpoSat – GPS-controlled spreading along pre-defined routes for precision and optimized material usage.
• EpoSat Web App – web application for managing spreading routes directly from the office.
• EpoData – web solution for data collection, reporting, and fleet management.
• EpoData also allows sending EpoSat routes directly to the spreader from the office.
• Navigation – accurate route and driving direction display, voice guidance, and a “return to route” function for additional driver support.

Corrosion Protection

Surface treatment includes sandblasting, rust protection with a two-component zinc primer, and a two-component final coating.
