Characteristics
The IceStriker 550-1250 polyethylene electric spreader is designed to meet European requirements for pickups and light trucks (Iveco Daily, FUSO Canter, VW Crafter, etc.). Lightweight polyethylene housings and built-in stainless steel parts provide you with long-lasting protection against corrosion and rust.
The IceStriker electric spreader is also available as a towable spreader. The trailer spreader models extend the capability and flexibility of the spreaders as you get the flexibility to use any pickup, SUV or car to combat icy conditions.
Optional liquid functions
The hopper construction can easily be transformed into a complete brine solution sprayer or into a pre-wet combi spreader that moistens the spreading material. Integrated tanks in the double-walled hopper body hold up to 450 l of liquid. The spreader can optionally be equipped with a 2 meter spray bar or a hose reel with hand-held spray nozzle.
StrikeSmart control
The StrikeSmart controller is a standard feature for IceStriker spreaders. The color controller screen lets you customize your spreading session according to your current situation. Automatic GPS speed control adjusts the amount of spreading material (g/m²) according to your vehicle speed, while manual mode lets you insert a fixed auger speed. Additionally, the controller collects and saves essential data to a USB memory allowing you to generate spreading reports. The controller also makes it easy to turn on functions like the vibrator, beacons and work lights from inside the cab.
HTrack tracking system
With the tracking software you can track and manage all of your spreading devices and snowplows online on your computer, tablet or smart phone. The HTrack™ system provides a 2-way GPRS communication channel as it informs the driver what sites to treat during operations. Application rates can be remotely set for each client’s site according to weather conditions, enabling the driver to concentrate on completing the operation as quickly and safely as possible.
Winter service equipment for pickup and light commercial vehicles
For pickup vehicles we recommend snow ploughs SnowStriker Pickup, and for light commercial vehicles SnowStriker ML, which are specially designed for this type of vehicle and enable efficient snow removal.
The combination of the IceStriker spreader and the SnowStriker snow plough ensures efficient, reliable and professional winter maintenance on parking areas, narrow roads and city streets.
