Features

The Certus AST series represents high-performance spreaders for bulk spreading material, designed for professional winter service. These are large spreaders with a low center of gravity, distinguished by exceptional adaptability and a wide range of versions, enabling optimal compatibility with different types of trucks.

Material dosing is based on a combination of a mixing shaft for breaking lumps and a screw conveyor, ensuring even and reliable spreading.

The Certus AST spreaders are available in three sizes:

• SMALL – compact version for smaller vehicles where space is limited.
• MEDIUM – the optimal choice for two-axle trucks.
• LARGE – designed for vehicles with a longer wheelbase, usually three or more axles.

Certus AST boasts a range of advantages that make it one of the most reliable solutions for winter road maintenance in Central Europe. It is highly efficient when spreading dry salt or pre-wetted salt. The capacities of the liquid tank and the salt hopper are perfectly balanced, ensuring optimal coverage when applying pre-wetted salt.

The spreader offers a spreading width of up to 12 meters and operates at speeds of up to 60 km/h. Operating positions are easily accessible and safely reachable. Certus AST is the result of many years of experience and technical expertise from Epoke, guaranteeing reliable performance even under the most demanding conditions.

Drive and Control

The Certus AST spreader is powered by the vehicle’s hydraulic system or its own gasoline engine. Operation can be managed with two advanced systems: EpoMini and EpoMaster.

EpoMini combines functionality, simplicity, and accessibility. It is equipped with illuminated buttons and a high-contrast color display, allowing clear understanding of settings and quick overview of the spreading profile. It is ideal for users who want reliable performance without complicated adjustments.

For more demanding users, the EpoMaster is available. This system includes advanced software solutions that can be used individually or as an integrated system. Despite numerous functions, operation remains simple and focused on driving safety. The intuitive menu structure, clear symbols, and favorite buttons enable quick training of new users.

Advanced functions of the EpoMaster system for smart and efficient spreading:

• EpoTherm – automatically adjusts spreading amount according to temperature.
• EpoSat – GPS-controlled spreading on predefined routes for accuracy and material optimization.
• EpoSat Web App – web application for editing spreading routes directly from the office.
• EpoData – web-based solution for data collection, reporting, and fleet management.
• EpoData also enables sending EpoSat routes directly to the spreader from the office.
• Navigation – precise route and driving direction display, adaptable voice instructions, and a “return to route” function for driver support.

Anti-corrosion Protection

The surface treatment includes sandblasting, rust protection with a two-component zinc powder, and a final two-component coating in the desired RAL color.

Installation and Mounting Options
