Characteristics

The snow blower is used as an implement to the crane hands of the Riko Ribnica mowers or the mowers of other manufacturers. The OSK is designed to remove snow between protective fences on viaducts or bridges of motorways. It is also suitable for blowing the snow off the sidewalks where the ploughed snow has accumulated, which can be removed into a caisson. The machine is operated from the vehicle’s cabin.

Characteristics

Zaugg snow blowers offer the right solution tailored to the requirements of every vehicle. Due to the modular system, the base configurations can be equipped with individual equipment for driving and operating. The snow blower model depends on the carrying vehicle and consists of a combined dual stage construction with cutter reels and an impeller. Both components are perfectly matched to each other via gearboxes, which enables efficient and economical operation.

SF 40 snow blower

Ideal blower for single-axle vehicles and small tractors. SF 40 is characterised by low weight and high manoeuvrability.

SF 55 snow blower

Key specifications:

• Power requirement: 10–40 kW
• Clearing width: 0.8–1.8 m
• Clearing height: 0.6 m

SF 55 is ideal for use with small tractors or small implement carriers. It can be driven directly or via an input drive by a PTO shaft or hydraulically.

SF 65E snow blower

• Clearing width: 1.2–2.0 m
• Clearing height: 0.7 m

SF 65E is designed for a wide range of different vehicles. It is equipped with side bearings for cutters. Overload protection is provided by shear bolts or cut-out clutches (optional). PTO or hydrostatic drive is available.

SF 72E snow blower

• Clearing height: 0.75 m

SF 72E is a simpler version of SF 72 with side bearings for cutters. The cutters are protected by shear bolts and powered by PTO or hydraulic drive. SF72E is expandable. It can be equipped with various options.

SF 72-70 KS snow blower

Thanks to its robust and durable construction, the SF 72-70 KS snow blower offers increased safety, extra comfort and extremely favourable weight. The scraper blade provides maximum protection for the cutter and the carrying vehicle when driving over the obstacles. The cutting reels are optionally protected by shear pins and cut-out clutches. 

SF 90 snow blower

Key specifications:

• Power requirement: 50–200 kW
• Clearing width: 1.5–2.8 m
• Clearing height: 0.9 m

SF 90 has the same properties and characteristics as the robust SF 72. Overload protection is provided by automatic shut-off clutches in the cutters. PTO or hydrostatic drive is available. All types are also available with a hinged scraper blade. 

SF 110 snow blower

Key specifications:

• Power requirement: 100–300 kW
• Clearing width: 2.3–3.3 m
• Clearing height: 1.2 m

The SF 110 is specifically designed for mounting on large implement holders with working width of up to 3.3 m. Overload protection is provided by automatic shut-off clutches in the cutters. PTO or hydrostatic drive is available.
